We’d like to welcome you back for the 2022-23 School Year. We are excited to welcome you and your child back to school for another wonderful year of learning and fun. This is an especially big year because we are welcoming 200 additional students from the Wheeling and surrounding communities. We are looking forward to Growing Together!

First Day of School is August 9 for 1st-5th Grade and August 15 for Kindergarten and Preschool.

To attend Kindergarten for the 2022-23 school year, your child must be 5 years old on or before October 1, 2022. Centralized Admissions will accept online registrations for Kindergarten students for the 2022-23 school year from March 1, 2022, through April 17, 2022, so parents can complete step 2 of the registration process. Registration will continue throughout the summer. The first day of Kindergarten is August 15, 2022.

School Hours are 7:45-2:15.

We are excited to begin another wonderful year at Virginia Court! We look forward to seeing all the smiles, hugs, and hard work that make it a joy to come to work each day.

With so much happening in the world right now, I want to remind you that we have these things in place for our students:

Mental Health supports are available for all students, including Aurora Mental Health, virtual counseling through Hazel Health, and a full-time school counselor

All staff trained in trauma-informed practices

Safety protocols that include situations where there is possible danger outside or inside the school

We are beyond pleased to be working with your child this year.

As we get closer to the start of the school year you’ll see a lot of changes happening. We’ll communicate more in late July but here are some big things coming up:

Specials to include Art, Music, STEM, Music, and Science

Boys and Girls Club Summer Program

Boys & Girls Clubs is offering after-school and summer programs of Metro Denver from 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. from June 6 to July 29. Find your Club and sign up today! The number of children we can serve is limited so register now to ensure enrollment.

Membership will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

Colorado Food Cluster

  • We deliver FREE meal kits that include tasty and nutritious meals and snacks, ready to heat and eat at families' doorsteps to serve the needs of thousands of families who are struggling during this current public health crisis.

  • Any youth 18 years of age or younger is eligible and families can enroll multiple students in each household for which each receives their own kit.

HOW TO REGISTER
